In our culture Fornication (sex before or outside of marriage) is promoted widely in music, media, etc.Fornication is condemned MANY more times in the Bible than homosexuality, in numerous verses and is damnable in the Bible right along with homosexuality (Of course this could be said to be because everyone is not homosexual, and more verses need to be devoted to instructing all Christians on fornication) Homosexuals are considered "sinners", almost the worst kind of sinner by many Fundamentalist but these same Fundamentalist do not regularly teach about FornicationParents do not worry about their sons or daughters being fornicators, with sex outside of marriage and teen pregnancy rates the highest ever at least here in the United States. But if these same sons and daughters came out as homosexuals, they would be widely preached No one is ever called a "fornicator" while in a Christian sense homosexuals are targeted for preaching, but no one ever says someone is a "fornicator"And I want to hear more explanation than just "IT IS DENOUNCED" because look on the news, listen to what preachers are saying, society says, etc. Fornication is just as big of a sin according to Christianity, but everyone almost is hypocritical by not preaching against it and participating in it actively. There is actually no Biblical basis for targeting homosexuality above other sins, especially when something like fornication is widely ignored and that is something parents can teach their children but do not.
