It will soon be difficult to find sex toys and vibrators in America, at least in the state of Alabama.
A federal appeals court just said that the state's ban on sex toys is constitutional, meaning that it won't be possible to sell sex toys in the Alabama state any more.
But the adult items won't disappear immediately, because the state attorney general's office has agreed not to enforce the law pending further appeals.
Officials want to ban sex toy sales in the interest of preserving public morality, and the risk is that this kind of ruling spread through the whole country, as anti abortion law spread before.
Adult shops owners are challenging the law and plead for American people freedom which is protected by the constitution.
But it might be difficult to enforce the law when you know that a big part of the sex toys shopping is made online, and that closing internet websites located abroad is almost impossible.
